National Program: Incentive Scheme for Large Investments (RIGI)

  • Imports: duty exemption for capital goods, spare parts, and inputs. 
  • Exports: duty exemption after the first three years. 

Foreign Exchange Benefits 

  • Export revenues: gradual free availability (20% first year, 40% second, 100% from third year onwards). 
  • Foreign currency financing: no restrictions for local or external operations. 

 

Regulatory Stability 

  • Long term: 30 years of tax, customs, and foreign exchange stability. 
  • Legal protection: guarantee of non-affectation by future more burdensome regulations, supported by an efficient arbitration system.

Its objective is to promote investment and the development of various economic activities in the Province of Neuquén, through the granting of different incentives and benefits, both tax and of other kinds, aimed at promoting economic growth, job creation, technological innovation, sustainability and the creation of small and medium-sized enterprises. all this in a framework of respect and preservation of the environment, in search of improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of the Province.

  • Scientific, technological and innovation. 
  • Agricultural, agro-industrial and forestry exploitation (and their related and derived activities).

  • Health sector-related activities, including the production and distribution of medicines, medical and disposable products, medical gases, and hazardous waste. 
  • Related to hydrocarbon development and mining activities, which are defined as strategic by the Provincial Executive Branch. 
  • Infrastructure and service development related to the above activities.
